Kong Linghai
Kong Linghai(Prominent Chinese Artist)

Born in 1967 in Dalian, Liaoning Province, Kong Linghai is the 76th direct descendant of Confucius and the sole inheritor of the “Confucian Style” calligraphy tradition. Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Harbin Normal University’s Fine Arts School. Holder of the Intangible Cultural Heritage title for ancient polychrome high-dimensional mural techniques. Trained under master potter Zhou Guozhen. Recognized as a Master of Arts and Crafts and a Master of Chinese Handicrafts. Currently serves as an expert for the Festival and Event Special Committee of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association and an expert at the Cultural Relics Restoration Techniques Research Center.
